Q. WHAT DAYS DO YOU OPERATE?

A. We are open for booking online 7 days a week Mid May through Labor Day. From Labor Day through Columbus Day we offer a shortened schedule. If you wish to book a tour on a day outside of our general schedule, please call us directly at 603.396.2380 Don (Hulk) or 603.677.2896 Sandy.

 

Q. HOW CAN I CHECK AVAILABILITY?

A. Please click on, “Book Now” at the top of the page to check available dates and times.

 

Q. HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI BOAT GO?

A. It’s a slow ride and has a cruising speed at around 4 to 6 mph.

 

Q. DOES THE BOAT MAKE ANY STOPS?

A. During a Public Tour, it does not stop. However Private Charter Routes can be planned by calling 603.396.2380

 

Q. HOW MANY RIDERS CAN WE BRING?

A. Max capacity currently is 10 people or 2000 pounds, whichever is less.

 

Q. WHAT IF I BRING MORE THAN 10 friends?

A. We do have two boats that can run at the same time.

 

Q. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

A. Absolutely!  Children under the age of 12 are required to wear a life jacket which we have on board or you can bring your own.  Please let us know if you plan to bring more than one child so we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets.

 

Q. CAN I PAY ON THE DAY OF THE TOUR?

A. All tours are pre-booked online and cannot be paid at the tiki boat.

 

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES?

A. Bookings are non-refundable 48 hours after the day and time of processing. If you book a tour departing within 48 hours, there are no refunds. When we issue you a refund, it will be in the amount of the tour. The booking fee is non refundable. (this is charged by our reservation company, not by us). We reserve the right to cancel any tour at anytime due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is cancelled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral cancellations).

 

Q. DO YOUR BOATS OPERATE IN THE RAIN?

A. We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats are covered. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions.

 

Q. WHERE DOES THE TOUR START/END & WHEN SHOULD MY GROUP ARRIVE?

A. The tour will start and end at the Pier at Winnipesaukee, in Weirs Beach. PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR CRUISE SO YOU HAVE AMPLE TIME TO PARK, PICK UP YOUR BEVERAGES AND SNACKS, THEN GET TO THE BOAT. If you are late, you lose time on your cruise, it will NOT be made up on the other end. To be fair to all customers, the captains must adhere to the schedule!

 

Q. WHERE DO I PARK?

A. If you cannot park along Lakeside Ave, we have 5 designated spots, free of charge to you. Because we have limited space, please park there only for the duration of your tiki ride. You will be issued a parking pass when you purchase your tickets. This pass must be displayed in your windshield. It will note the time frame that your car should be there. To get to the parking, drive past the M/S Mt. Washington, with the water on your right, past the pier, past the Compass Cafe, and look for an old wooden bridge that spands the train tracks. Go right, over the bridge, then turn right and the parking lot will be immediately on your right. Park in the designated spaces. From there just walk out of the parking lot to your right, onto the boardwalk and then turn left to walk down the pier. Go down the steps, and into the store. You will see signs along the way. You will access the tiki boat through the store. You can purchase your beverages and snacks for the cruise at the store.

 

Q. CAN I BE PICKED UP AT MY HOTEL?

A. Possibly, but only for a Private Charter, and it will depend on your location. Please call Don (Hulk) at 603.396.2380 or Sandy at 603.677.2896. Your other option is to call ASL Limo. 603.630.8229

 

Q. DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK?

A. We do not provide any food or drink, however, you may bring your own. We do have a large cooler on board, and you can easily purchase your beer and wine at the store on the pier. That way all you have to do is carry it a few feet to the tiki boat! We will have ice in the cooler waiting for you!

 

Q. CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ONBOARD?

A. Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable stereo systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music. Please be sure your phone is charged.

 

Q. WHO IS MY CAPTAIN?

A. Our Captains have been vetted, trained and strategically chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the Lake.  Our Captains hold a commercial license as required.

 

Q. SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN?

A. Our Captains do work for tips, so gratuity is appreciated.

 

Q. IS THERE A BATHROOM ONBOARD?

A. No, there is not! However there is one on the pier that you can use. Just ask the captain for the key....Pee before you go!!!

 

Q. ARE THERE AVAILABLE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?

A. Yes, there is a PFD for every passenger.
